Whole Wheat French Toast
A
healthier version of breakfast favorite. I match hearty whole-grain bread with the
warm, comforting flavor notes of vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg to make it
lighter and healthier.
Ingredients:-
Serves 4 persons
- 3 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon of Sugar
- 1/4 tespoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- dash nutmeg
- 8 slices Whole grain bread
- Olive oil / Butter
Preparation:-
-Whisk
all the ingredients together in bowl big enough to lay the toast in and not
splatter everywhere.
- Dip
the bread in the mixture. Give the bread at least 30 seconds on each side
to soak
- Place
a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook the slices with few drops of olive
oil/Butter on preheated skillet for 2 to 3 minutes on each side.

Serve immediately or Transfer to a warm plate and keep warm in oven.

Serve with maple syrup, fresh berries.
-Repeat
with remaining bread and egg mixture
